4L80e D3 automatic transbrake valvebody

Ive spent the last 5 years testing and tuning this design to bring you a reliable and consistent transbrake. Like other D3 autoshift designs it works from the D3 shifter position. The hydraulic circuit is as simple as possible with no accumulator circuit. This keeps the shifts crisp and firm. This design also eliminates the Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid in favor of fixed line pressure via a single stage pressure regulator, manufactured by Extreme Automatics and used successfully in thousands of their 4L80e transmissions and DIY valvebody kits. Rock-stable line pressure creates an incredibly reliable transbrake valvebody with a dead-nuts consistent launch. New to 2025 is the ability to leave in 2nd gear for less than stellar track prep. This valvebody is intended as an off-highway use performance part. It requires high level skill to install and should be left to an expert performance transmission builder.
